MEET THE TEAM

Hi! I’m Sarah, HomeBuddy’s Field Manager. My role is all about making sure both our two- and four-legged clients are taken care of while keeping our team safe, supported, and providing the level of service our clients have come to expect from HomeBuddy.

 

I’m always just a call away and ready to help however I can, whether that means offering guidance or showing up in person when I’m needed. At the end of the day, my job is to keep everything running smoothly, all tails wagging, and all humans upright and safe! 

Hi everyone! I’m Jena, the Social Media and Marketing Manager for HomeBuddy. When people find out what I do, the reaction is almost always, “Oh, so you just play with puppies and post cute photos all day?” I wish it were that simple!

 

While getting to feature adorable pets is definitely a massive perk, my job is rooted in something much deeper: building trust. Pets aren’t just pets—they’re cherished family members. When a pet parent is looking for training, boarding, daycare, or any of our other services, they’re not simply looking for a service; they’re looking for peace of mind.

 

My mission is to use digital marketing to show our clients every single day that their furry family members are safe, loved, happy, and cared for with us. 

Hi! I’m Joshua, the Kennel Manager at HomeBuddy Company. My story with HomeBuddy actually started right on Javaar’s doorstep! I was doing sales for a solar company when I met him, and he offered me an opportunity to join the team. I said yes, and from there, Javaar and Lauren took me under their wings.

 

They taught me dog training techniques and helped me learn how to do my job at the highest level. On weekends, I’d bring my own dog in, and Javaar would work with me hands-on, helping me better understand how dogs communicate and learn.

 

Those experiences prepared me for the role I have today. As Kennel Manager, I work to bring the best out of our team while making sure every dog has an amazing time at daycare and goes home happy, fulfilled, and ready to wind down after a great day with us. 

Hey everyone! My name’s Ian, and I’ve been working with HomeBuddy for almost four years now. One of the things I love most about this job is getting the opportunity to bond with animals and care for them every day.

 

I’m currently in college pursuing my bachelor’s degree in business while working part-time. When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually hanging out with my own dog, Charlie!

 

My goal is always to treat every pet like family and give our clients peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands while they’re with us at HomeBuddy. 

Hey there! I’m Skye, and I’ve been with HomeBuddy for over two years now and have been loving every second! My weekly role consists of dog walks, hikes, and lots of fun at our doggy daycare.

 

It’s truly been a blessing to experience the special joy and love that only animals can bring and to have the opportunity to give that same love back. As a proud mother of two kitties, I have an extra soft spot for our feline friends and would love to meet yours!

 

When I’m not out with the pups or snuggling with the kitties, I help create our social media content so everyone else can enjoy the adorable moments that make me love my job! 

Hi! My name is Matt, and I’m a Stamford native. I’ve been part of the HomeBuddy team for the past two summers, and I really enjoy getting to spend my days with so many different dogs. I have two dogs of my own, so being around dogs every day feels like home to me.

 

During the day, I spend my time walking the dogs, playing with them, and making sure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable while they’re with us. My favorite activity is water play because the dogs have so much fun with it! I especially enjoy getting to know all of their different personalities and making sure each dog has a great day.

Hi! I’m Jeanelle! I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable dog walker who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I’m patient and attentive, and I always make sure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

 

I love going on walks, playing, giving lots of attention, and getting to know each dog’s individual routine and needs. I’ll treat your furry friend with the same love and care I’d want for my own!
