Our Values
When we started HomeBuddy in August 2020, we wanted to create the kind of pet care experience we would want for our own animals, one that is personal, dependable, knowledgeable and built on trust. As HomeBuddy has grown, so has our role. Today, a big part of what we do is developing our team, sharing our knowledge and making sure the level of care HomeBuddy was built on carries through everything we do. Six years later, seeing the relationships our team has built with the pets and families we care for and watching team members grow within the company has become one of the most rewarding parts of what we started together.

Lauren is a certified Veterinary Technician with 20 years of experience in pet care. Her passion for animal welfare began in her youth through extensive volunteering with farm animals, exotic pets, and veterinary hospitals. As the owner of Home Buddy Company, she excels in customer service, organizational management, and Staff Leadership. Her expertise ensures accurate medication administration and timely health assessments, prioritizing the health and safety of every pet.
Javaar is a Certified Pet Trainer and Nutrition Specialist with 14 years of experience in the pet care industry. He is passionate about positive reinforcement training, adhering to American Kennel Club standards, and creating joyful learning experiences for pets and their owners. As the owner of HomeBuddy Company, he provides personalized guidance and exceptional pet care services. Javaar ensures consistent, high-quality care for every pup by training his team to uphold the high company standards and reinforcing the company's reputation for reliable pet care.
